Tuition and Expenses
Tuition for 2016-2017 has been set at $75,300. It includes academic classes at OPTIONS, work with Vocational Counselors, and Speech and Language Therapy if needed. It also includes instruction within the Independent Living portion of the program as well as apartment rent (including cable and all utilities) and a $55.00 per week per student grocery allotment. Transportation to and from OPTIONS activities, supervision at recreational activities, medical support via our Nursing staff, and tutorial support during study hours at the apartments are also included. Families requiring a more specific breakdown of costs should contact OPTIONS.
Some students who have deferred high school graduation receive full or partial tuition reimbursement via their school districts under the Individuals with Disabilities Act. For more information, contact your school district or your School Board of Education and ask for a Parents’ Rights Handbook.
