Academic Development
College Support for Students With Learning Disabilities
OPTIONS helps young adults build the academic, executive functioning, and self-management systems needed for college, employment, and adult life.
Academic Pathways and Integrated Support
Academic programming is designed to strengthen the foundational and executive functioning skills needed for college life, consumer life, and the workplace. Students learn to understand their learning profile, use effective strategies, manage assignments, communicate with instructors, and take increasing ownership of academic responsibilities.

Learning Strategies That Transfer
Students may pursue college coursework, vocational experiences, or a combination of both depending on demonstrated readiness and goals. Academic coaching, Study Skills, Speech and Language support, and other services reinforce strategies across real coursework and daily responsibilities so progress is measured by application, not just classroom performance.

Academic Growth Is Connected to Adult Outcomes
The objective is not simply earning better grades. Students work toward stronger self-management, communication, strategy use, and independence so academic skills can support college persistence, workplace readiness, and daily adult responsibilities.
