OPTIONS | Transitions to Independence

Readiness, Fit and Growth

Is OPTIONS the Right Fit for Your Young Adult?

Admissions is a mutual-fit process intended to determine whether the student’s needs, readiness, motivation, and goals align with the program.

A confidential first conversation about readiness, support needs, and program fit.

Students Who Often Thrive at OPTIONS

OPTIONS is designed for young adults who have completed high school or an equivalent credential, can participate meaningfully in post-secondary learning or employment experiences, and are willing to engage with coaching while building greater independence. Admissions focuses on the whole student rather than diagnosis alone.

Admissions Process

The admissions process is intended to clarify mutual fit. Families begin with an inquiry and conversation, share relevant evaluations and school records, complete the formal application, and participate in interviews or a campus visit when appropriate. The goal is to determine whether the program’s level of structure, community environment, and expectations align with the student’s current readiness and goals.

A Clearer Path Forward Starts With Understanding Fit

OPTIONS does not expect independence all at once. An admissions conversation is a practical first step to understand readiness, support needs, and whether the program aligns with your student.
