Jocelyn Turner Keehn brings over a decade of experience supporting students with complex learning disabilities through cognitive, academic, and therapeutic interventions. As an Arrowsmith Instructor and clinical team member within a structured post-secondary transition program for students with learning disabilities, she plays a key role in helping students strengthen the underlying cognitive skills required for independent learning and adult success.
Jocelyn has been part of the Brehm community since 2012, with a professional background that includes classroom teaching, residential life support, and therapeutic counseling. She holds a Master of Science in Education in Educational Psychology and Counselor Education, along with extensive experience in crisis intervention and student support. This multidisciplinary background allows her to approach each student’s development with both clinical insight and practical application.
Through the Arrowsmith Program, Jocelyn works with students to improve cognitive functions such as attention, processing, memory, and reasoning. Her instruction focuses on building neural pathways through targeted, intensive exercises—helping students move beyond compensatory strategies toward lasting cognitive change. This work is integrated into the broader OPTIONS model, where cognitive development supports progress in academics, vocational training, and independent living.
Jocelyn’s approach is rooted in fostering confidence, resilience, and self-awareness. By guiding students through challenges and helping them recognize their own growth, she empowers them to see themselves as capable and independent learners. Her work reflects the holistic philosophy shared across Brehm and OPTIONS—where cognitive, emotional, and life skills development are fully aligned to support long-term independence.
